Biography

I have been working in the fitness industry for over twelve years and I have been a massage therapist  for also over twelve years specialising in sports massage and managing lower back pain for a wide variety of clients.

I have always had an interest in sport, I represented Surrey in Netball and Athletics for six years whilst playing football for Chelsea Ladies FC. I ran at an English schools level and was an athlete that was widely recognised as a top hurdler at a young age. I sustained injuries during my athletics which resulted in consulting top British physiotherapists, it was my consultations with the physiotherapists which sparked my interest in the human body and a desire to learn as much as possible so that I may treat others.

My goal was and is to become a massage therapist at a high level in the world of sport and I continue to learn in searchof my goal.

Since my injuries I have qualified in the following:

  • Sports & Exercise science
  • Fitness instructing

  • Exercise (GP referal) instructor
  • Managment of lower back pain
  • Holistic massage
